Laptops for making FPV drones fly correctly, a bottleneck that can easily be overcome

Each FPV drone used by Ukrainian forces requires around 15 minutes of software & settings time plugged into a laptop. This procedure is essential in achieving high success rates.
Each laptop can therefore program 4 or 5 drones per hour.
More Engineers than Laptops
Ukrainian drone houses have more repair desks than laptops, the lack of which is causing bottlenecks in surging drones to the front. They can significantly increase their output if they get an injection of quite ordinary laptops.
Old Laptops Are Just Fine
If a laptop will still start on it’s battery that’s a bonus, so long as it starts
Most laptops have a Microsoft Windows sticker on them from new, and this is the easiest way to know if any particular model would be useful. We’re looking for laptops originally shipped with Windows 8 and newer.
Laptops bearing Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows 11 stickers are all very useful to the Drone Houses, each one donated is a key enabler for up to 5 drone launches per hour.
Your Old Data
GDPR is important and much easier to comply with if there is no data on the hard drive, not even windows. Volunteers will hard (long) format hard drives before shipment.
